The Student Association Programming Board (SAPB) announced on March 31 that OzFest will be headlined by PARTYNEXTDOOR.

According to Discogs, PARTYNEXTDOOR is a “Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer.” He is signed to Drake’s OVO Sound record label and has released three albums and several EPs.

His performance will be preceded by special guest Aux Cord Wars, which is an interactive experience hosted by actor and comedic host Jay Dukes and hip-hop artist Trizzy. According to their website, it “has an old-school DJ competition vibe, with you in control, to see who can move the crowd by playing the best songs, while the audience decides your fate.”

Prior to the concert, there will also be a daytime carnival, running from 12 – 4 p.m.

SAPB announced the concert in Marano Campus Center by playing one of PARTYNEXTDOOR’s songs and allowing the audience to react and figure out the headliner.

OzFest will take place on May 5 in the Deborah F. Stanley Arena. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert will begin at 7:45 p.m. Tickets are available online or in person at SUNY Oswego’s box office in Marano Campus Center.
