Your Laker Review Guide to Concert Tours in 2023 (March-August)

Still upset that you were not able to purchase Taylor Swift tickets? Well, have no fear, Laker Review is here. We have put together a friendly guide to help you along your musical journey this year. 

Journey (“Freedom”) launched their “Freedom Tour” on Jan. 25. The tour is set to go until April 23. Join them on tour for intense nostalgia and for their opening act, Toto (“Africa”). The Judds (“I Will Stand By You”) embarked on “The Final Tour,” where they shed some final tears of joy, which ended on Feb. 25. In February, Carrie Underwood (“Denim and Rhinestones”) and SZA (“SOS”) began touring, as well as Paramore (“This Is Why”) who are currently touring North America.

Take note of what is to come in future months.

March

The highly influential African artist, Wizkid (“Made in Lagos”), is currently on his “More Love, Less Ego Tour,” which will end on April 7. Reba McEntire (“If You See Him”) is on tour until April 15 for “Reba: Live In Concert.” The “Two Icons, One Night Tour” features Billy Joel (“Piano Man”) and Stevie Nicks (“Rhiannon”) until Sept. 23. Kenny Loggins (“Danny’s Song”) began “The This Is It Tour,” which is set to end Oct. 27. Taylor Swift (“Midnights”) has also begun her adventure with the much anticipated ”Eras Tour” which will come to a halt on Aug. 9.

April

The Red Hot Chili Peppers (“Californication”) will be touring until May 25 with The Strokes (“The New Abnormal”) as openers. Janet Jackson (“Number Ones”) is preparing for the “Together Again Tour,” which will go on until June 21. Wiz Khalifa (“Multiverse”) will appear around the world on “The Good Trip Tour.” Lizzo (“Special”) is also going to rock some stages on her “Special 2our” until June 2. 

May

This May is chock-full of great music tours and festivals. For their “Crybaby Tour,” Tegan and Sara (“Crybaby”) will be in the United States and Canada until Oct. 3. Blink-182 (“Neighborhoods”) can be seen on their “2023 Tour” until July 16 with Rise Against (“Nowhere Generation”) as an energetic opening act. Ed Sheeran (“Divide”), Matchbox Twenty (“Exile On Mainstream”), Duran Duran (“All You Need Is Now”) and Foo Fighters (“Medicine at Midnight”) are all gearing up for summer tours, as well as Dave Matthews Band (“Come Tomorrow”). These tours are gaining a lot of trajectory among music fans throughout North America due to their popularity.

June

As time approaches the summer solstice, Fleet Foxes (“A Very Lonely Solstice”) is set to claim the stage for their “Shore Tour 2023” until Aug. 24. Followed by Zac Brown Band (“The Comeback”) who will be on their “From the Fire Tour” until Nov. 4.

July

July invites some music divas to the stage. Beyoncé (“Homecoming: The Live Album”) to begin her “Renaissance World Tour,” which will wrap up on Sept. 26. Madonna (“Madame X”) will go on her “Celebration Tour” until Oct. 7. Pink (“Trustfall”) is set to tour for the “Summer Carnival 2023 Tour,” which will feature her newly released album, until Oct. 9. Adding to that trifecta of women artists, The Chicks (“Gaslighter”) are touring the world from July 21 to Sept. 5.

August

Wrapping up the summer, multifaceted classical pianist and singer, JVKE (“Golden Hour”), will begin his “What It Feels Like” tour until Sept. 2. Lionel Richie (“Tuskegee”) and Earth, Wind & Fire (“Now, Then & Forever”) have announced their “Sing a Song All Night Long Tour,” which will last from Aug. 4 to Sept. 15. Rob Zombie (“The Sinister Urge”) and Alice Cooper (“Paranormal”) are set to go live on tour until Sept. 24. Last, but certainly not least, lifelong fans have the opportunity to soak up the last of that summer sun while experiencing Guns N’ Roses (“Sweet Child O’ Mine”). The band is set to tour the world from Aug. 11 to Oct. 16.
