The Oswego State women’s soccer team won a hard-fought non-conference game against Clarkson University on Sept.17. The Lakers look to improve their 3-2-1 record as the Golden Knights look to remain undefeated and grab their sixth win of the season.

- Clarkson University has a record of 5-0-1. The Golden Knights have not lost this season and look to continue their streak today.

- Clarkson forward Sarah Kohls adds to her season tally with her sixth goal of the season.
- Corner kicks were traded for both teams in the second half but neither team capitalized on these opportunities.

The Oswego State Lakers hold off Clarkson University and the team buries the Golden Knights’ chances of an undefeated season. Two quick goals before halftime ensured this hard-fought Laker win. Their defense worked hard to maintain the lead, especially in the second half.

Oswego State women’s soccer prepares for their next game on Sept. 21 against Brockport. It is Oswego State’s first game of SUNYAC conference play. Now having a record of 4-2-1, the Lakers will look to build off of their well-managed win today.
