SUNY Oswego ranks among top colleges in U.S.

SUNY Oswego has done good work in maintaining its academic standing. The college continues to rank high among top public colleges in the U.S. News and World Report’s 2023 Best Regional Universities in the North, as of Sept. 12. The locations included in the reports comprehend public and private colleges all around New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware. 

Results show SUNY Oswego ranks in at 54th overall in the northeast and among the top 12 in public colleges. SUNY Oswego has the best rank in the North for Best Undergraduate teaching reaching the 10 position.

It is important to notice SUNY Oswego keeps earning recognition for the services it offers to veterans and active military members. The latter has positioned SUNY Oswego in the top 20 regionally in the Best Veterans category while gaining honors from national magazines and rating services as military-friendly and veteran friendly.

SUNY Oswego’s ability to empower students to brighter futures has positioned the college in 19th position, confirming its uptrend from being placed 35th in 2021 North Social Mobility rankings. 

U.S. News has included SUNY Oswego in its Best Online Graduate Business Programs: MBA, top 5 nationally for Women Enrolled in MBA Programs and Green Colleges guides. U.S News also assesses an all-time high of 1,500 U.S. bachelor’s degree-granting institutions on 17 measures of academic quality.

Lastly, SUNY Oswego ranks for Top Undergraduate Engineering Programs, Top Computer Science School, Top Undergraduate Business Programs and non-doctorate.
