Pre-game

  • Oswego State enters the contest on a five-game win streak. They are currently undefeated with a conference record of 1-0.
  • SUNY Potsdam is looking to get their first SUNYAC win of the season. They lost to SUNY Cortland this past weekend.

  • Oswego State finds the answers they need on offense. Dumont with a goal and assist to help push the Lakers back in front.
  • Gavin Elston tied the game with his 19 goal of the season.
  • Cory O’Connor completes the hattrick and puts the Lakers up by 3. Ryan Eccles tallies his first goal of the contest on the man advantage.
  • SUNY Potsdam gets into penalty trouble at the end of the quarter and the Lakers take advantage.

  • In the middle of the third quarter, both teams started slowing down the offensive production. The Lakers have yet to score this quarter.
  • SUNY Potsdam with some more tallies. The Bears have scored 5 unanswered goals.
  • Now 6 unanswered as the Bears have taken over control of the contest. Oswego State with the lack of procession and offense.

  • SUNY Potsdam making it a game late in the contest. The gap is getting smaller with three minutes remaining in action.
  • Ryan Eccles puts another to hold off the Bears. SUNY Potsdam would bounce back with 1:35 remaining.

  • Oswego State improves to 7-2 after their win this afternoon. The final score of 22-18.
  • The Lakers are 2-0 in SUNYAC play to kick off their conference schedule. Both wins coming against the teams from the North Country.
  • SUNY Potsdam falls to 3-5 overall on the season.
  • Liam Sexton and Corey O’Connor both had stellar games on offense. Both players had over 4 points in the contest.
  • Oswego State sets their sights on SUNY New Paltz as the Lakers host that SUNYAC contest this Saturday at Laker Turf Stadium. Game is set to begin at 3:00 p.m.
