Katie Granato was given her second assist on the day on the powerplay marker scored at 14:12 of the second period.
Elmira made it 3-0 early in the third on a Rachel Grampp wrap around chance. Assist went to Durnell at 3:15 of the final frame.
The Lakers finally got on the board and cut the lead to two after Alli Ullrich broke in on the wing, fell down and still got the puck to the net. It deflected off of Kendall Appelbaum and into the net at 7:02.
Oswego State pulled their goalie late in the third and couldn’t bury anything. They lost back-to-back games to Elmira, this time 3-1.
