What’s happening this weekend in Oswego (April 11-13):
Spring Fling: Oswego State’s women’s honor society will be hosting an event on Sunday, April 13 in the Campus Center Activity Court from 12-3 p.m. It will feature an egg hunt, pin the tail on the bunny, and spring-inspired crafts. Snacks and refreshments will be provided, but children need to be accompanied by an adult. For admission, you need to bring two toiletry items that will be donated to a local charity. Bash the Trash: The Children’s Museum of Oswego is hosting a workshop where kids can fashion and play musical instruments from recycled materials, and a performance by the group Bash the Trash. This will be held in the Hewitt Ballroom on Saturday, April 12, 2- 3:30 p.m.The cost is $5, including parking. For more information, call 312-2873.
Oswego State Women’s Softball Game: Women’s softball will be playing against Brockport at 3:00 p.m. on April 11. This will be held on the Laker Softball Field.
Planetarium Show: The Shineman Center will be having a planetarium show on April 13 from 7-8 p.m. in the planetarium on the second floor of the building. This event happens every Sunday and is free. Parking will be available at the Campus Center along with the Washington Boulevard lot.
