The Syracuse Vocal Ensemble made its way to Oswego State to showcase its unique musical stylings this past Sunday, playing to a packed Sheldon Hall Ballroom. The performance, entitled “The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass,” was a blending of genres, infusing Appalachian folk and bluegrass traditions with classical music. The Ensemble was supported by regional bluegrass luminaries Joe Davoli, Perry Cleaveland, Zachary Fleitz, John Cadley, Nick Piccininni and Maureen Henesey and the Syracuse Country/Contra Dancers.
