The search for the unidentified man who jumped from the Utica Street Bridge has been suspended, the Oswego City Police Department announced Monday.
The search will continue periodically along shorelines and the surface water as the weather permits.
The man was reported to have jumped into the Oswego River on Nov. 28 around 3 p.m. When emergency personnel arrived, they were able to see the man floating in the river.
The fire and police officials tossed in floating devices to the man, but were unable to reach him. Before the Oswego City Fire Department arrived, the man went under the surface.
The victim was last seen floating north of the Captain’s Quarters hotel.
