Sheriff’s announce investigation results into Parish murders, suicide

Oswego County Sheriff’s Department announced the results of a four-month investigation into the deaths of three men in July on Wednesday.

Three males were found dead at 1675 County Route 11 in the town of Parish on July 23, a statement said.

Oswego County Sheriff’s determined that David P. Quinn, 28, shot Anthony J. Patla fatally at close range at time in the early morning.

Quinn then killed 15-year-old Logan J. Goncalves.

Both Patla and Goncalves died immediately from their wounds, the statement said.

At some point later, Quinn killed himself by a single shot to the head.

The investigation took several months because the Sheriff’s Department needed all tests and results in.
