America, land of the free and the home of the brave. If we continue on the path this administration is taking us down, we will need to make an alteration. Obama, his administration, as well as the progressive leftists in both political parties have stated their goal is to fundamentally transform this country. For those who supported Obama, the people who voted for "hope" and "change," did anyone stop to ask, what kind of change and transformation would we be in for? Make no mistake; the changes we are seeing under this regime had been planned.
Call it what you will: Marxist, socialist or communist, the fundamental transformation that is underway is anything but the republic our forefathers envisioned. How is this possible? The communists, fascists and socialists years ago infiltrated our institutions and under the cloak of darkness, spread a venomous ideology. According to Dr. Patricia Santy, a psychiatrist, states that the neo-Marxist–revival that has been staged in this first decade of the 21st century, has gained momentum. She claims there are four pillars that are at its foundation, political correctness, multiculturalism, radical environmentalism and Terrorism. The neo-Marxists have flooded our pop culture with their message of social justice.
What is social justice? Basically it is the re-distribution of wealth and the placement of power in the collective over the individual. That is communism-like.
Neo-Marxists romanticize communism as if it is the perfect utopia where everyone works together for the common good of the people around the world while saving the planet. It’s a myth. Communism has never worked. You cannot take from the rich and give to the poor. I challenge you to name one society that has benefited by re-distributing wealth.
We are at a crossroads, one route goes the way of restoring honor and our Constitution. The other route is a Marxist nation.
On August 28th, 2010 Glenn Beck and members of the Tea Party had put together a rally that would not focus on politics; instead it focused on restoring honor, faith, hope and charity. The "8-28, Restoring Honor" rally brought a huge crowd from all across the nation to the Lincoln Memorial in D.C. There were no signs, only families coming together to celebrate America by honoring her heroes, her heritage and looking forward to her future as well as raising money for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. The event drew an enormous crowd with people of all races, religions and socioeconomic status. There were no racist remarks, no hate speech, no threats and when it was over the grounds on the mall was left in pristine condition. There was no trash left behind. It was a huge success, so naturally the media played it down.
Recently there was another rally at the Lincoln Memorial on the mall in DC. It was called "10-2-10, One Nation." This rally was billed as a multicultural, with diverse groups working together for one nation. Those on the left such as Charles Rangel as well as others gave speeches. They had claimed that they were sponsored by over 400 organizations including the Communist Party USA, the SEIU(Service Employees International Union) along with a host of unions, not to mention the Apollo Alliance and other socialist and other Marxist organizations.
The crowd who eventually showed up lacked the volume of the Restoring Honor rally. They also brought manufactured signs and socialist propaganda was handed out while speakers gave uninspiring drolls. The One Nation rally, when compared to the Restoring Honor rally, showcases the differences as stark as night and day.
The most striking difference however was the condition of the National Mall. The lawn was littered with boxed lunches, bottles and cans, along with the discarded signs and pamphlets. It shows the lack of responsibility for one’s own actions. It’s the "let someone else do it" mentality. The irony is the environmental groups that had attended, such as the Green Party and the Sierra Club left just as much mess as anyone else. The war memorial had been plastered with the anti war rhetoric from groups such as Code Pink. Their way of honoring our soldiers, I guess.
It will soon be time to choose the path. Is it the neo-Marxist agenda, where the nation will be under government control and citizens are all equally poor, except for the dictator who will run the government? Or do you choose the path that leads to freedom and God given rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness our founding fathers wanted us to have?
