"Assassin’s Creed 2," developed by Ubisoft, has players assume the role of Ezio Auditore da Firenze, an assassin during the Italian renaissance. Venice, Rome, and Florence will be the main cities for players to explore and complete missions for various assassination assignments. This sequel has more mission variety overall as well as new weapons and gameplay mechanics. One example of this is by getting the help of Leonardo Da Vinci who can create things such as poison blades and smoke bombs. Players can even use his flying machine to get around, as well as the unique fluid parkour system introduced in the previous game. This game is one to watch out for and is an excellent contender for game of the year. Check it out on Nov. 17 for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
